Valdubón was founded in 1997. A state of the art production area and wine making equipment were recently added to the facilities. The winery is surrounded by just under 100 choice acres of estate vineyards, all planted with Tempranillo.
Bodegas Valdubón is located in the northern plateau of the Iberian Peninsula on the banks of the Duero River near the town of Milagros, a few miles south of Aranda de Duero. It falls under the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero. Wines from Ribera del Duero are renowned as being bold and powerful. The ageing in barrel provides elegance and balance. They are characterized by their cherry color and noted for being well-bodied wines with a balanced acidity. The tannins and the structure of these wines make them ideal for aging in cask.
Valdubón is part of the Heredad Collection of ultra-premium wines, and include Reserva, Crianza, and Cosecha.
